Christmas time is here!

Christmas is officially in fully swing at the Foster house! We decided to do it the old fashioned way by cutting down a tree in the mountains. It was Josh's first time chopping down a tree. Woohoo for living next to the mountains! It was quite the fun adventure. Yeah, we may have gotten stuck because we didn't know that some of the roads up there hadn't been plowed, but we made it through and got a nice tree. Beth was visiting and joined us on this adventure. Sometimes pictures do a better job of telling the story than words…

Josh was very happy to be in the snow!

Beth looking so cute. Also, our tree is cute!

I had to include this one because I love this man so much!

We took care to wrap our tree for the ride home

I think my santa shirt helped us find a beautiful tree!

Josh did most of the work

I was quality control

So sad Josh's eyes were camera shy on this one. No he's not crazy for being in short sleeves. We all got hot hauling that tree to the car.

We have a perfect corner for our tree. Plus, it was the perfect height!

 Getting started

Lights are serious business!

A little blurry, but you get the idea!

 Colored bulbs this year

A Christmas kiss

 We love Bethy!

The finished product!

We really had so much fun cutting down and decorating our tree. We are so glad Beth came to enjoy Thanksgiving with us! Merry Christmas, everyone!
